The villa (Marianna) was exquisite. Overlooking Istron Bay and the Istron Hotel, the view was breathtaking.
We were able to use the hotel’s amenities including beach chairs and umbrellas, which was nice.
Dimitry was a great host and available to answer questions when they came up.
Overall, highly recommend the private villas. Just bear in mind that access to the villas is via the Istron Hotel’s main access road so just enter the hotel as your destination otherwise you may just drive right by (like we did!).

We stayed in Intron luxury villas in June 2023. It was the perfect relaxing break for my husband and myself along with our daughter who had just finished GCSEs. The lovely villa is in a beautiful quiet location and thoughtfully equipped, the private pool was a wonderful luxury and the sandy beach and bay was less than 5 mins walk. The local hotel also has lovely facilities available to those staying at the villas including the private beach with parasols and sunbeams that were always available. The location of the villa was perfect for site seeing and Crete has such a lot of wonderful history to offer. A car is needed as the grocery stores were a mile or so away but had everything we needed and there were plenty of restaurants within 5-10 mins drive. The local food was fabulous. We would love to return next year as a week was not enough.
