The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Edward and Cynzia were wonderful hosts. You feel totally at home. Our room was very comfortable and our breakfast was great. The property is beautiful. We will definitely go back.

This place is absolutely wonderful. Great. Fantastic. Treat yourself to a stay at the Gillen House. You will not regret it.
A beautiful renovated 5700 square foot, 1920’s built house. Spacious rooms, incredibly comfortable beds, luxurious bath towels (I miss the towels.) Great hosts, great bkfst, great.
