Fantastic hotel with great facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very tasty (and lovely to eat on the terrace overlooking the sea). Beautiful big room with a balcony right above the sea. A lovely calm atmosphere about the whole place. It was great to be able to go downstairs for a swim with islands to sit on just at the back of the hotel. The upper floor where the loungers were was perfect and a very relaxing place to sit after exploring busy Ortigia. Sabrina also let us make use of all the facilities - and arranged for a boat to come and collect us directly from the hotel for a tour of the island - on our last day when we had a late flight. Ortigia ia a short walk from the hotel (about 15-20 minutes) and we had already seen most places on foot but the boat trip gave a different viewpoint so well worth doing.
The Greek Theatre is a short walk away and so we managed to book a Greek play which was amazing.
Would wholeheartedly recommend the hotel for a fabulous stay in Syracuse.

Sabrina and Claudia are consummate hosts and understand what constitutes a high-end experience!
The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the shower powerful and the rooms spacious with every comfort needed. Staying at the Giuggiulena Villa was the perfect start to our holiday, we were made to feel at home immediately!
Claudia and Sabrina prepared dinner for us for the three evenings we stayed and the food was superb! We highly recommend this B & B and won’t hesitate to stay with them again when we are next in the area!

Claudia was amazing! Her place is such a great location in Siracusa/Ortigia. It’s literally right on top of the Mediterranean Sea! I woke up each morning to a beautiful sunrise and crashing waves. Where to start? Use her parking if available. It can be a nightmare to park and not get your car dented. Trust me! It’s worth the charge! Park your car and just walk everywhere. Eat great food and burn it off! Haha. She provides a great breakfast with a surprisingly variety. The room was excellent and the bed comfy. Darkening shades were great to sleep in a bit. Listen to her recommendations. They are excellent! See the city in two days. Spend your third day visiting the Roman temples. Worth the drive! Then head on to your next destination. I could not have been happier with choosing her place! It has history and has an amazing view! Book it, if you’re lucky enough to have it available! ❤️🇮🇹😊

Wow. We just spent 3 nights at Giuggiulena Villa and wish we had stayed here for our whole trip. Almost want to keep it a secret…!
It’s a family-run, 8 room boutique hotel by the sea.
Location; stunning, right on the sea, all rooms have a sea view; most have balconies overlooking the sea. The property has direct access to the sea (the coast is rocky all around this area). They have rock shoes provided, as well as mats to sit on, sun loungers and inflatables so you can spend your day in the crystal clear water.
The hosts Sabrina and Claudia are so lovely and helpful. Excellent communication before the trip organising an airport transfer, booking a local restaurant for our first night’s dinner etc. The friendly family vibe makes you feel so welcome.
Breakfast is simple but enough, fresh coffee, yoghurt, eggs, fruit and pastries eaten right by the sea on the terrace. One day they made us a small lunch (as we were busy drinking wine in the sea!) of bruschetta and local ‘spaghetti sandwiches’ which was amazing. They even baked the most delicious chocolate torte for my husband’s birthday.
If your priority is being walking distance to Ortigia but with a prime seafront location, look no further. We adored this hotel and will be coming back.
