We enjoyed our stay in Paris at the La Familia Hotel. The premises feel authentic with Trompe L’Oueill painted doors and walls. The staff was so accommodating, we arrived early and they securely stowed our bags. The service was engaging and personal, the receptionist joked around with us as did the breakfast madame. The small room was immaculate each day as we came back, worn out from sightseeing!

Got off to a very bad start, because when we arrived, the lift was out of order and our room was up on the 6th floor via a dark spiral staircase!!! Two workmen carried our cases. No one could tell us when it would be fixed!!?As we had a pressing appointment, we had to attend, on our return the lift was fixed and life improved greatly! The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the tea making facility was a welcome addition.It was a good location for public transport. We did not partake of any breakfast whilst there.

The room was clean and the air conditioning was amazing! Good location to wander around but still easy enough to get to metro stations to go further distances. The balcony was definitely the highlight!
