Stayed here for a couple of nights in April 2026. Lovely large room in the Tower! Had both breakfast and dinner here each day. Food was excellent. Service slow the first evening fo dinner but fine the second evening. Historic hotel with amazing wood carvings.

Excellent staff, beautiful building and decor, everything was very clean and well maintained - our room was absolutely wonderful! We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were delicious!
Service in the bar was super friendly and the cocktails were very tasty!
The only thing I would say is that the soundproofing between our room and the bar wasn’t great, so we could hear everything. It didn’t bother us at all as we had earplugs, and it quietened down from about 10:30pm.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and felt it was very good value.

We have stayed in a caravan at Woodlands Hall but this was our first stay in the Hall..
It was lovely! Everything was Five Star.. In particular we’d like to thank Will who was so helpful! He was friendly and helped us sort a spare bed.. 🌟
