Akbulut Konak is a beautiful old Ottoman house set in its own peaceful garden just far enough out of the old town but still walkable. The host is extremely attentive and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of homemade jams, cheeses, eggs, bread and pastries. We coukd not fault our stay here in August and woukd recommend to everyone.

Beautiful property set in a an old Ottoman house with a garden. It's within walking distance of the Safranbolu town centre, which has plenty of eating & shopping options. The owners are the sweetest, nicest people, very personable & helpful. The breakfast is a big & delicious spread with lovely personal touches, like the homemade jams. We loved Safranbolu as a town and would love to visit again. If we do, we'll be sure to stay at Akbulut Konak again.

This boutique hotel is unforgettable. The historic ambiance takes you back in time. The hotel staff were genuinely kind and helpful. The traditional Turkish breakfast was our favorite part. We felt as if we were being hosted in someone’s home. Amazing stay. Highly recommend this konak.
