The view from here is absolutely stunning. From the volcanic cliffs out the bathroom window to the North Atlantic Ocean in front you. Not to mention the full view of Mt Stepafell. Break was fantastic and the coffee was top notch.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kast Guesthouse. The location is very remote but extremely beautiful and close to the Algae Hot Spring which we visited and equally enjoyed. We chose to eat at the guesthouse too. The menu was limited (Roast Lamb, Salmon or Beef) and a selection of cakes, but the quality was excellent and the price was reasonable for Iceland. The Breakfast buffet was also excellent. Our room for 4 persons was large and there was ample room to spread out suitcases. Thank you for a great stay.
