Caesar is a great host. Warm & friendly. The property sits right on the lake. It’s a beautiful property, accommodations are basic. The road is very Rocky but only for a block or two.

Nicely located a few meters form the lagoon, thus priority with wood cabins is comfy, but it lacks any kind of food service.

Beware! The only property access is a STEEP 200 metre cowpath over tree roots would be dangerous in rain. There were no clear signs Had to drive on that to go back to Bacalar, 25 km. away.
Or room was in a building across from the gated facilities on the beach. We were not allowed to use the beach chairs, kayaks etc. Nor was there any breakfast or coffee available for purchase. The person that let is us in did not explain the access to the beach facilities. Nor did she offer contact info in case we needed something.
I think the offering on Expedia has to be re written to clarify what is being offered.
