Overall the Zuri was outstanding- we could not fault anything. We’re not buffet fans - however the quality, choice and freshness of each buffet was exceptional. There were also other dining options - the al a carte restaurant is super and we enjoyed an amazing beach BBQ. You will not be disappointed with the food. The resort was well laid out meaning the villas are very private. The villas themselves are gorgeous and very comfortable- inclusive of an air conditioning system for the bed - which we’ve never seen before and was appreciated. The cleaning and turn down was to a very high standard. The beach is amazing as are the sunsets and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening entertainment provided at sunset. The highlight was the pool - it’s great and definitely ranks in our top 3 pools from any resort. It’s a proper pool for swimming and there are plenty of beds and shade so it never felt busy. Finally the staff - wow - friendly, attentive and just brilliant. We were so sad leaving this resort as we enjoyed it so much and we hope to return one day.

The only debate I had here is whether to have the sunset from the pool or the beach. Tideless waters, a little spice farm, good food, and a staff that took care of everything from daily needs to island attractions. This is the place in Zanzibar 📍🌴
