The hotel was excellent! The room was nicer than we expected. The breakfast was also very good.
The restaurant however was a letdown.
It was charming and the service was good but I ordered pasta with mussels and it was inedible.
I am not a food snob by any means and I will eat almost anything but the meal was so salty that I forced myself to eat a portion of it because I was really hungry.
The pasta was really salty the broth had no flavour other than salt and the mussels also were super salty and otherwise tasteless. Probably the worst pasta dish i have ever been served. Too bad because as a Canadian coming to Italy my expectations were a little higher.
I told the server than it was not good and I actually expected them to not charge me for it but they did , and I imagine the server never told the cook ( I would say chef but that would be a huge exaggeration). Therefore I am writing this review because it was terrible . My wife’s dish was okay , but not great. Our friends fish was good although it came with nothing but fish , so on a scale of 10 I would give the restaurant a 3.

Beautiful hotel located just outside Bologna in a park-like setting. We were there for just one night and found the hotel a perfect spot from which to explore Bologna. We took the train from nearby San Lazaro di Savenna which has free parking. Note that there is a Trenitalia ticket machine at this location but it is only on the one platform and is hidden until you get to the top of the main stairs. Back at the hotel we found our room spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served starting early and consisted of a good variety of foods. Front desk staff were very pleasant and parking was plentiful.

The grounds are lovely. It’s a quiet area and just far away enough from the city to hop on a train or just relax nearby. The old world villa style was pretty. A bit of fresh varnish, paint, sealant in the bathrooms, and changing out older hardware and carpets would make this hotel special. The potential for excellence is only a few details away. The breakfast selection was also fantastic! The staff was kind and it worked well for our one night stay as a family of 5 in two rooms.

Hello, the hotel team deserves a 10 out of 10. Breakfast is also a 10 out of 10. The room was very clean, the hotel is beautiful, and the parking is one of the best in the world. The parking lot in Osiba is free. I highly recommend the hotel; it's very beautiful, comfortable, and quiet
