What a week enjoying Tuscany's beauty and nature!
This Montalcino location is just within the medieval walls, perfect for both the short walk up to the shops, cafes, and restaurants, yet it was very easy to park on-site and head out on daytrips. Aleesa and Sara were amazing hostesses with a friendliness that made us feel like Montalcino family. They really have created a welcoming guest experience in a beautiful setting.
Besides getting to know our Montalcino village every day, we also took several daytrips driving around the surrounding Val D'Orcia countryside, which is stunning. Pienza, Terme San Filippi (The White Whale), the monestary, and Montepulciano were favorites. Yet we kept commenting how nice it was to come home to enjoy afternoon wine enjoying our cozy hotel view.
Thank you, Hotel Vecchia Oliviera team... we are coming back for sure!

We had a lovely stay. Room was clean. Breakfast was enough to get you going for the day. Walking distance to several restaurants. Having access to parking was a plus.

I love this property. My corner room with a view of the valley was absolutely awesome. I would recommend this property to anyone who likes a hotel that is 'top class'.
