All the staff were happy, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.
Our room had a fantastic view over Lynmouth and sea. Everything was spotlessly clean.
Food was delicious - both breakfast and dinner.
Friendly, lively atmosphere.
We only intended to stay for 2 nights but ended up staying 5.

The hotel was particularly quaint and uncommercial yet had everything that we needed. The food was excellent, however, there was no option for gluten free cereal which was a shame but there were plenty of other options available.

A modern bathroom in a 14th century hotel was definitely not expected. WiFi worked in the room. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast provided a good selection and the cooked items were really good. Sunday lunch was close to home made with plenty of different vegetables.

Decent sized room overlooking the boats bobbing about. Great shower and looks like a brand new bathroom. The chipped paint within the room lets it down a bit but nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay.
