We had a wonderful family stay at Antichi Orti del Sole. This is a genuinely family-run property, and the owners’ care is evident in every detail. They do everything possible to make guests comfortable, and whenever something needs to be adjusted or resolved, they respond quickly and handle it in the best possible way.
Due to an error generated by the booking platform, there was initially some confusion regarding our reservation conditions. It was difficult for everyone to understand how the platform could have produced such an error. However, the owners handled the situation with remarkable patience, professionalism, and a truly customer-oriented attitude. We greatly appreciated the respectful and constructive way they worked with us to resolve everything.
Our room was very comfortable and beautifully maintained, while breakfast was excellent—fresh, generous, and prepared with great care. The property is in a charming mountain village, approximately 20–30 minutes by car from Amalfi. For travelers wishing to escape the tourist crowds currently overwhelming Amalfi and Positano, and making stays there far less enjoyable, this is perhaps an ideal location.
The surroundings are peaceful and authentic. In the morning, we could hear cows and roosters in the distance, adding to the lovely rural atmosphere. It is a wonderful mountain retreat, with beautiful views and a sense of calm that is increasingly difficult to find along the Amalfi Coast.
