We arrived here to do some hicking. This hotel is near the Nuuksio park and well situated to do some nice walks. We were at the end of the season and diner options were small. The room was oke but we had to take care for getting clean towels. There is a very nice swimming pool.

the hotel is very nicely located in the peace and quiet of nature. there is a little lake nearby and it’s a good starting point for hikes.
Though the hotel has a bit the vibes of a youth hostel we liked staying there with four adults.

Location near Nuuksioforest is fine. Sleeping in soft warm bed is greate. Thats enough for me.

The building in itself reminds a bit of a school, but the service, the bath area, saunas, food was of great quality. If you want a boutique hotel, this is not your choice, but if you are after an warm, Finnish experience in the middle of the forest this hotel is for you.

"I have never known that just outside Helsinki there is a special retreat area Nuuksio. It's like a piece of Switzerland (without mountains) in the middle of lake and forest area. Strongly recommended...."
