The most magical place.
We loved our stay at Barrocal, the staff was amazing, nothing is too much trouble, every detail has been thought of.
And to have just about every meal and most of the beverages produced on site, amazing.
Can’t recommend this property enough, will definitely be planning a return trip.

Just as you come onto the property, just outside the reception is a cobble stone path, where sets of chairs and tables are set up to watch the sunset and drink the wines produced at the nearby vineyard. That was my absolute favorite place to sit as we were celebrating my partner's birthday.
Our friends from New York were vegetarians and found loads of options on the farm to table menu on offer for breakfast and dinner.
It rained the last 3 days of our trip, cancelling our hot air balloon ride, but the concierge toggled quickly and offered us an array of options including an olive oil tasting. Our guide was a fount of knowledge. Thank you!

We loved our time at this place wonderful property - kind, caring staff who are attention and very well trained. A highlight for sure. We loved the care and attention to detail in the property’s buildings and gardens. We were also very glad we did a horse back riding tour - great experience. We found the food tasty, but the chefs had a tendency to overcook meat - so if you want medium rare - order rare!
