⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — A Truly Unforgettable Experience in Manuel Antonio
I have traveled extensively, but my 3-day stay at Mountain Top Park Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, I knew this was not your average hotel — this was a destination experience.
The property itself is breathtaking. Nestled in the lush jungle canopy above Manuel Antonio, the views are the kind that stop you mid-sentence. Every morning I woke up to the sounds of the rainforest, howler monkeys in the distance, and a sunrise that reminded me exactly why Costa Rica is called the "Rich Coast." The rooms are beautifully appointed, the grounds are immaculate, and the overall atmosphere strikes that rare perfect balance between luxury and pure nature.
But what truly elevated this stay above anything I could have expected was one person — Jairo.
Jairo is, without question, one of the finest hospitality professionals I have ever encountered anywhere in the world. From day one, he took the time to genuinely understand what I was looking for in my experience — not just as a guest, but as a person. He crafted a personalized itinerary tailored specifically to my interests, curated local recommendations I never would have discovered on my own, and checked in with me daily to make sure every detail exceeded expectations.
His guided tour was an absolute highlight of my entire trip to Costa Rica. Jairo's knowledge of the local wildlife, the ecosystem, the culture, and the hidden gems of Quepos

The hotel really is at the top of a mountain so the views in every direction were amazing. Stayed in the main building level one. Full access to the whole park's network of trails and suspension bridges makes this an ideal location for wildlife viewing. Road up is very steep but it is safe because it is one way traffic with separate roads going up versus going down. Breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. Supper quality was good, however not much choice for vegetarian, other than salad and french fries (both were very good though). This is the place for wildlife. Were able to see squirrel monkeys, sloths, a nesting pair of tucans, a pair of macaws, iguanas and frogs. Every morning, Jose the hotel park naturalist does a free one hour tour with his spotting scope where you can learn all about the animals and their habitat. You can purchase a night tour with Jose and see up close some amazing creatures including colorful frogs and two-toed sloth. Highly recommend purchasing a tour with Jose.

Wow. This was an unplanned stay and itvwas so amazing. From the hanging Bridges to the monkies. Very amazing and great staff assistance. Above and beyond. I will be back!
