The staff was truly so warm, friendly and helpful. Our goal for our stay was to relax and fully unplug, and we did so. We enjoyed days of quiet relaxation with spectacular views of the mountains and valley that started with a wonderful breakfast. The evening meals in the restaurant were delicious. The restaurant staff both in the morning and the evening were an absolute delight.
Our biggest challenge was probably most due to our inability to understand German. There were details that we didn't find out or understand until later in our planning of our trip. Life was simplified once we came to find out that they would gladly meet us at the Mittersill train station, and that they would have even picked us up at the Zell am See train station for a charge. We wished that we would have found those details earlier in our trip planning days.

Schloss Mittersill is a dramatic property with an interesting history. The views from high on the hill are fantastic. The staff was terrific and even provided my wife an I a private terrace dining room with 360 degree views of the mountains for our anniversary celebration.

Beautiful property. We loved the spa, our room was huge and very comfortable. Aleksander gave us a tour of the hotel with some history, very interesting. The restaurant was wonderful. Everything about our stay was great, we just wish we were there longer! We are excited to return for another stay.
