We had a wonderful stay here during our Puerto Rico trip. The location is beautiful and perfect for travelers looking for a more private and peaceful atmosphere. At night, hearing the sounds of nature and the coquí frogs singing made it feel extra special.
The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, giving us recommendations for dinner spots and advice for exploring El Yunque. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed chatting with them each morning.
The drive up is a bit rough but manageable and worth it. Also, the peacocks walking around (especially admiring themselves in their mirror) were such a fun touch. Overall, this place felt personal, peaceful, and like a hidden gem near the rainforest

Jessica and Ruben are wonderful hosts! The cottage homes were super clean! If you want tranquility, you want to hear nature and truly relax, then this is a perfect spot. The neighboring towns were within 10 minutes drive and you can select from many restaurants. El hippie waterfall is a 10m drive to spend jumping off rocks into the water..

Couldn’t have been better! Ruben and Jessica were exceptional hosts - very friendly, helpful on local ideas and almost always available via phone, text or just knocking. If you’re planning a beach trip, they have things to lend out - cooler, beach towels, etc. - if they have it, you can use it. Wish we had more days as Ruben’s breakfasts are top notch. The room and bed were comfy and you can't beat the views from the bedroom and off the balcony. Location is on the edge of the forest so lots of great sounds at night. Also lots of animals on the property including Bowie the friendliest dog ever, peacocks, ducks, chickens (and one annoying rooster, but only in the morning!) Be very patient with the hot water in the shower as runs from the main house and can be slow to heat up. And until driveway gets fixed a vehicle with more clearance is recommended. It can be tricky to find the driveway the first time - android maps are perfectly accurate, iPhone not so much. Thank you Ruben, Jessica, and Linda for a great stay!

We had an amazing time in this relaxing country environment. The host was very attentive to our needs and the breakfast was awesome. We felt a lot of peace in the countryside surrounded by a lot of greenery and farm animals. The room was spotless and the bed and pillows very comfortable. We hope to return soon.
