Fort Davis Drug Store Hotel

Most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! Absolutely loved this place and will be back next time I come for the McDonald Observatory.

Clean property, comfy bed, and best of all FANTASTIC AC! The little drugstore downstairs is soooo cute, would be such a neat space for a Photo op!

Good location. Didn’t really like the stairs we had to climb to get to the room.

This was one of the most charming places we’ve ever stayed. The Fort Davis Drug Store Hotel is in the old-timey downtown of Fort Davis, in an actual old drug store. As a guest, you have access to the the old drug store on the bottom floor, which has a pool table and ping pong, and then an amazing common room on the top floor, which has games, albums, and supplies to make breakfast. Every room is so charming—big beds, lovely bedding, lots of decoration and character. Some rooms have astonishing views of the mountains. This place has no staff on site, so it’s all self check in. That being said, it was spotlessly clean, even the less used spaces. And they provide SO MANY AMENITIES, like a freezer, ice in the freezer, and coffee syrups. If you have a group staying in the area, I would highly recommend renting the whole place! It would be great for a retreat or reunion. We can’t wait to come back!!
