About this house rental
Le Tournesol is a charmingly restored stone cottage with plenty of character and comfort, it is well-equipped and has satellite TV (UK & FR), DVD player & WiFi (& 4G).
The gite has it's own shady parking space and dining terrace with BBQ. The swimming pool - 10 x 5m (120cm deep) is heated with a salt-system, it is available from the first Saturday in April to the first Saturday in November. It has a large sun terrace, plenty of loungers and a lovely view over the surrounding countryside. There is also a large garden to the rear with plenty of tree shade and strategically placed garden furniture.
The property is located only 5 minutes from Daglan, Cenac-et-St Julien and Domme, all of which have shops and restaurants and 15 minutes from Sarlat-la-Caneda, the beautiful medieval town at the centre of this area.
All kinds of tourist attractions are very close - we are in the valley of the chateaux with 4 spectacular sites to visit within 15 minutes, river beaches where swimming and paddling is safe, gastronomic restaurants, medieval towns, charming villages and breath-taking gardens plus any number of sporting activities - canoeing, golf, tennis, horse-riding, walking & cycling to name but a few.

We had a marvellous fortnight stay in the house. It is located just near enough of all the important things to do in the Perigord and far enough to relax. The huge 10x5m size swimming pool is ideal for cooling down and also provides a WONDERFUL view!
Definitely a location we want to go back some day!

Wir haben ein Haus vorgefunden,genau wie wir es erwartet hatten.
Eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin erwartete uns und so konnten wir die Tage genießen.
Das Haus war ok und der beheizte Pool rundeten den Aufenthalt ab.
Die Lage war traumhaft und ideal für unsere Ausflüge.
Gerne kommen wir wieder.
Negativ fanden wir die kleine Dusche und das Thermostat müsste erneuert werden.

What more could we have asked for - space, comfort, peace and quiet after hectic sight seeing in cities and the warmest and most helpful people to deal with. A well equipped kitchen, very effective washing machine, good wifi connection and ever so cosy cottage, we loved every minute of our stay. Than you Juliette & Stuart for sharing a piece of your paradise.

This was such a beautiful location for painting and drawing. Daglan was ideal by the river. The accommodation was really lovely with great views of the valley and fields with wild flowers. So peaceful. Juliette made us feel very welcome and was very helpful. Would really like to return with a group.Many thanks
