We had a wonderful stay at Vila Sal which coincided with my birthday and our anniversary. The staff were incredibly helpful from the outset, providing useful information and tips, supporting with excursions. Nothing was too much to ask. They even checked the sea conditions to help us choose which beach to visit. The stay felt very personalised, with notes and gifts in the room and staff always checking in with us to see if they could help improve our stay. Breakfast was delicious and à la carte. The açai bowl is a particular highlight! The room was comfortable and contemporary. The location is convenient being in the centre of the island with lots of dining options and the main evening entertainment options nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms are really nice as is the property. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast is the highlight. The one downside was that management decided to renovate the pool and dining area outside leaving that whole portion unavailable. We had to eat our breakfast on a small table in our room and we had no access to the pool. The area smelled like varnish. This was communicated to us upon arrival and it was upsetting. Other than that everything was great.
