We loved our stay here at San Salvatore. The description doesn’t do it enough justice. You are staying on the actual Venetian wall in the middle of the harbor. It’s a lovely room with lots of space and a private terrace all to yourself. VIP feeling in a place older than the surrounding city. Irene was lovely and very helpful with all things. 10/10!

San Salvatore is a fantastic property, very historical yet done up to a very high standard. It is in a very quiet area but very close/within a walking distance to the city centre in Chania and with a great views across to Chania harbour and the lighthouse. Irene was an amazing host, extremely helpful and kind which made our stay really memorable.

One of the loveliest places I’ve stayed in, so close to everything in the whole town. Very clean and wonderful modern bathroom. The owner was so receptive to all our questions and always there. Breakfast was so personalized and delivered to our room. I felt like I was in a historic resort. The only challenge is parking which is on the street but you don’t need a car for Chania. We chose to drive because we wanted to see the rest of Crete. I would love to stay here again
