This place is a gem. A bit hard to get to, the road is narrow and bad, but well worth the trip! As its name suggests it is right among the vinyards with views to rival Tuscany. The hotel is lovely, my stay was late in the season but it is obvious how pleasant it would be in summer with the wonderful terrace and the large pool open. My room was elegant, with a rustic touch. Food was excellent, as was the wine and the personal attention by the owning family and the staff well appreciated. It was interesting to hear about the history of the place, including the fact that the area is the third largest producer of Pinot Noir (incidentally my favourite wine) in the world. Thanks for sharing, Roberto! I wish I'd been able to stay longer and hope to be back one day.
