St Christopher's Inn Gare Du Nord - Hostel

Very convenient for Gare du Nord. Comfortable bed with curtain and storage. Breakfast was basic but plentiful

I stayed four nights at St Christopher’s Inn Gare du Nord in Paris. The location is extremely convenient — literally around a five-minute walk from Gare du Nord station and almost directly opposite, making it ideal for transport connections, the Metro, and getting around the city easily. It is a very, very busy area and can be extremely noisy, especially during the evenings when the hostel becomes crowded and lively. Because of the traffic and activity around the station, it may not be suitable for people who are sensitive to noise or air pollution. The area naturally attracts all sorts of individuals due to its central location, but overall I felt safe during my stay. The women-only third floor was very handy and provided a better sense of comfort and security. There were plenty of showers and toilets available, although the facilities could probably benefit from a little updating. For the value and the central location, it is really good. There are lots of eateries nearby, excellent Metro access, and Pigalle and Montmartre are only around a 15–20 minute walk away. I would say it is particularly ideal for shorter stays of one or two nights. I stayed for four nights, and while I had no major complaints, I would have appreciated the housekeeping refreshing the bedding around the second or third night, which would have made a longer stay more comfortable. Because of that, I probably would not stay longer next time. Overall, it was a really good stay and excellent VfM.
