Hotel Sandalyon

Last week of the season, so many local facilities had closed. Long white beach with sports facilities - much prettier beaches further up the coast. Enjoyed island hopping boat trip. Local town, St Teadoro, had good cafes, interesting churches. Shops usually closed for very long siesta - not often open, - to British expectations. Hotel staff were very helpful and responsive. Excellent food, though slightly pricier than local restaurants. Good buffet breakfast. Towels changed and room cleaned every day. Car hire quite reasonable. Excellent roads. Efficient airport. No chance of finding a newspaper!

Hotel is in very good location you have got close to the beach and to the centre as well..

I found The Sandalyon to be so unique in its charm. Everything was meticulous and well kept. You could relax outside and order a drink from the small concession open to the outdoor tables. Did not have dinner there but am sure it would be good. The decorum was so pretty with some unique blue blends. The manager who I assume was the owner is always around sitting with people. The pictures on the walls are very tasteful and artistic. One night I sat in the lobby and read my book with a drink just to take it all in. Location was just a few hundred yards from the beach. Had group activities early in the morning and found at least four people cleaning and setting up for a new day. Am sure to be back.
