Casa Mao was an amazing stay! Very unique property, friendly staff, clean rooms, and great views. It was also a great value for the price even with a hike up the stairs. Would recommend!

The property offers great location and beautiful views of Amalfi. The manager is very personable and helpful. The room is pleasant and the wifi is great. The location is really great, right in the center of a very lively town, which is next to the beach and ferry services. Note that it is physically demanding to climb the stairs to get to the property, especially when carrying luggage up for check-in, and there are restricted hours on check-in time. Self parking is not available in the entire town and must rely on garages at daily rates and must give them the key to the car. * Be careful to note your car fuel and mileage readings before giving the car to the garage attendent.

The owner met us at the port after we arrived by boat. He walked us through town and up the many stairs to our hotel telling us about its rich history. He was super kind and accommodating! The view and outdoor terrace were breathtaking! My favorite place to stay in Amalfi so far 🇮🇹❤️
