A lovely stay in a cute old stable. Lovely provision of cereal, bread, butter, milk and coffee (including some for the cafetière for those like me who don’t drink instant). The fridge has a small freezer at the top which is great.
The living room is double height and very comfy with underfloor heating, the bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine. The owners have really thought about the things you need when staying away in self-catered accommodation and it shows! 10/10

Chose this accommodation as it is close to family we were visiting. It was exactly as described and the hosts were very accessible and accommodating. The sofa was more comfortable than it looked, basic breakfast provisions were provided, it was clean and comfortable, easy to find, easy to park and the heating worked very well. It was walking distance to a supermarket and to a pub which we visited for a drink. We would have preferred having a washing machine rather than a dishwasher (which we didn’t use) and there was limited clothes storage in the mezzanine bedroom but we had seen that from the online pictures. Overall we were very happy with this accommodation and would definitely recommend it.

Single traveller in business. I was greeted by Angus on arrival and given some advice on the area.
I’ve had some pretty ordinary experiences at best on my travels but I’m pleased to say I was completely blown away by how good the Stable was. At first glance it’s a small building covered up by a big impressive wisteria. Once inside there is a very high ceiling in the living room and a mezzanine level bedroom which is really well presented. It just looks so welcoming. The kitchen is immaculate with everything you need and a really nice touch was the sour dough bread, butter and jam and choice of cereals which I wasn’t expecting. A nice touch was a pint of milk in the fridge and GROUND coffee!!! That was very welcome!
There’s a Tesco express just round the corner and I had a great curry from the local.
I’d definitely be back if I’m in the area.
