Beautiful views, lovely breakfast. Our room was dated, staff fixed the tv for us as it had a broken sensor . Beds and recliner was comfy.

We had a packed trip and our only regret was not carving out time to just sit and relax here. The setting is gorgeous. We could see George Washington on Mount Rushmore from our room! The lawns and fire pit were inviting. The restaurant served what we needed for breakfast and dinners. The room itself was fine. It was a little outdated but felt clean. The neighboring town didn’t appeal to us - very busy and touristy - so we thoroughly enjoyed the peace of the resort. This was our base from which we explored - our favorite was the Wildlife Loop drive at Custer State Park where we saw bison, wild burros - up close! We also enjoyed prairie dog town. Very much worth the visit!
