This was a traditional Japanese hotel. Our room was very large compared with o the many 3 star hotels we had staying at before this one. The room came with twin beds. We also had a tatami room with option of sleeping on a futon. The woodwork in the room was amazing. We chose the half board option which included a traditional dinner and breakfast. The dinner was a 15 course amazing dinner and the breakfast was just as impressive. The location was across the street from the Dotonburi shopping district.

We had a business trip to Osaka, and stayed 3 nights in this hotel.
It is very close to the main Dotonbori area, at the same time it a Ryokan type that you can experience that close to the center.
It is better to book sauna on the roof top well in advance as it was fully booked for many weeks.
The hotel is conservatively designed and has its own charm, although it is quite old.
The parking is hard to find but all transport means are in the walking distance.
We tried the special breakfast once and it was a nice experience althouh my collegue didn't like the japanese seafood for the breafast.
