Terrible stay completely ruined our trip! On arrival there was no key in the key safe and the door was unlocked I tried to contact the hotel several times by email, telephone call and WhatsApp message but no answer and they have now blocked my number. The apartment was filthy, wet and stained sofa, poo and blood on the duvet, mattress and end of the bed - honestly disgusted. We’ve reported it to hotel.com who have so far been really helpful and hopefully getting us a refund. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone! Stay away!

Even thought the appt had an iron and ironing board you couldn’t use them. The board kept collapsing and the irons base had fallen off exposing the wires. Bed was comfortable and all in all, great for our 2 night stay

We stayed here for 2 nights for a night out in Chester with friends. Whilst the apartment was a great location, had all the amenities we needed, close to parking and communication was ok. This was not a ‘luxury’ penthouse as advertised. It was very tired in places and the levels of cleanliness were poor. The top floor en-suite door was broken, it couldn’t be opened or closed. There was a horrendous damp smell in the top floor en suite which lingered in the bedroom due to the broken door. There were noticeable clumps of a previous occupants hair all over the shower wall. In the second en-suite a used razor was left in the shower. One of the towels had noticeable stains. Although the lounge was a nice space, the sofa in that room was not pleasant at all. It was absolutely filthy, old, sunken and had an awful musty smell. The apartment definitely has potential, with modern decor and is in a great location for Chester City centre but unfortunately the cleanliness really does let it down.

This property was the second one in this complex we stayed in. It was much nicer and had a more modern feel however it’s not in the luxury’ category. Heaters worked really well. The mattress was narrower than the frame so was very cramped for two people. The grout in the shower could have been cleaner and there was mould around the edge. The door handle to the bathroom was useable but actually broken! Kitchen facilities were okay but no tea towel. We would probably stay again but the host might like to think about some of these aspects that I mentioned.
