Located within the fort, the hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and key attractions. The property is fairly basic but clean, and the included breakfast was decent. We were unfortunate to experience a power outage one morning, but it wasn’t a major inconvenience as we were heading out for the day anyway. Overall, a comfortable and well-located stay.

We arrived later than planned and the staff was more than accommodating - he waited for us till shortly before 10pm and checked us in promptly. The breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka! They also stored our luggage for us when we went out to explore town. The hotel is a heritage Dutch colonial house, and we appreciated the rich history this place preserves.

We had a lovely weekend here - the staff were so friendly and accommodating when I had to log into a work meeting before the room was available. The whole place is spotless, the breakfast was fresh and plenty of it and the location is perfect. We’ll stay here whenever we go to Galle.
