The live music at night was a surprise but it was good and stopped at a reasonable time.

This hotel is in a very strange location, but that is what makes it exotic. It is in the middle of a market. You cannot taxi there, and in fact, many taxi drivers did not know of this hotel. We had to walk and cross the fish market. The smell was not good. The rooms are around a court yard that is full of smokers. Therefore, the smoke gets into the bedrooms above. We informed the staff and they told us to run the air conditioning to clear the air. We did and in the beginning it worked. However, later in the night, the air condition unit stopped working and the room was again smelling of cigarette smoke. We opened the windows and were able to clear the room, but then it was noisy. I don’t recommend guests with health conditions to room there. Let me clarify that the rooms are not smelly when you enter. Only when you open your door to enter or the unit stops working. Otherwise, the rooms are clean and well decorated.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel and will definitely be back! The location is very central, making it easy to explore the city and access all its attractions. The staff were wonderful, welcoming, and helpful, and the rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained. Having live music in the restaurant every evening was a wonderful extra and made the experience even more enjoyable.
Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so special. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!
