This was our first time to Turner Falls and staying at this cabin. Unfortunately, the condition of this cabin was unacceptable. I understand a cabin in the woods may have bugs outside, inside, and around. However, this cabin has been neglected when it comes to cleaning. Upon arrival, we found the following: - Dead cockroaches on the floor - Kitchen sink was dirty with nasty sponges scattered on top - Dead bugs in both the bathroom sink AND shower, along with long black hair from previous inhabitants - Dirty towels left on the counter in bathroom - ANTS crawling all over the bathroom sink, and after wiping them away, more would return - Cobwebs in almost every single corner of the cabin - LIVE cockroaches on the bed frame - Dirty sheets with stains and dirt inside, long black hair from previous inhabitants (we did not sleep under these covers) - Underwear left behind in a cabinet in the bedroom - The couch had stains and upon lifting the cushion, trash and debris left underneath. Ultimately, it appears as though nobody cleans the cabin in between stays. A lengthy note with instructions are left by the TV asking for a positive review, but a positive review is not deserved. It’s a shame because the location is fabulous. For $200 per night with an outrageous $57 cleaning fee attached, the bare minimum expectation is that the space is clean and ready upon arrival. We paid far too much money for this neglected cabin in the woods.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. TV reception was non existent and there is no internet but I didn’t go to watch tv so it wasn’t really an issue. The surroundings are beautiful and I truly enjoyed the outside. A bird lovers paradise

The bed was very low hard to get out of very uncomfortable there were no instructions for the water heater last i figured how to turn it on the parking spot is very treacherous. For folks with difficulty walking be aware also the towels smelled like cigarette smoke
