The Earth At Ranthambore

We had a wonderful stay here. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights full board. I was not sure it would be as good as the photos, but it’s better. This resort is fantastic. It’s better than the photographs. We stayed in a Neer cottage with a plunge pool. It was as amazing as the photos suggest. The gardens were pristine and the swimming pool was very clean. There was a large menu for lunch and the breakfast choices were comprehensive. The quality of food was excellent. We had a small problem with the laundry but this was rectified to satisfaction with a free rewash. We would 100% stay again. If you book a safari then the morning safari was better than the afternoon. We had a private jeep for around £200 per safari. We got to see a tiger so we’re very lucky. We were in zone 6. Check out which zone is closed when. We only got to see deer and antelope on the afternoon safari in zone 8 but the views on the mountain were breathtaking. The tour of the fort was amazing. A unesco site and the people at the temples were very welcoming. Great local guide. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend the earth. The staff were wonderful. They could do enough.

Nicest most attentive staff that go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be and I would be remiss not to give Nivesh a special thank you. Clean rooms that are wonderful and comfortable, and they make your evening full of interesting activities like music, stargazing, and outdoor theatre under a full moon. A true gem! Great food!

Very nice

This really is an amazing place to stay. The location is perfect for safaris and feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. The resort has a beautiful, calm atmosphere and is the perfect place to relax and recharge the batteries. The rooms are unique and have everything needed for a family stay. The full board was very high quality and really tasty, lots of options for breakfast, lunch & dinner, buffet style and freshly cooked options and also the staff were great at explaining what everything was, what went with what etc. I recommend the aloo dosa for breakfast. At no extra cost we had a gorgeous high tea every day followed by traditional entertainment. What made it so special though were the staff, everyone so kind and helpful. Nivesh in reception was the perfect host, making us very welcome, making our stay perfect but also arranging the safari and our onward journey. Would highly recommend.
