Very happy to stay at this lovely central hotel, about 15 mins from the main city park, Zócalo de la Ciudad de Oaxaca. Before arrival, we received helpful messages providing information on local restaurants and places of interest. The main entrance opens onto a pretty courtyard and fountain, where breakfast is served. The included breakfast is wonderfully fresh and delicious.
Our room was in the corner, so it was quiet and peaceful. It was a relatively basic, but comfortable room with some toiletries. Air conditioning wasn't particularly needed, but when it was on, it was adequate.
Although there was a roof terrace, there wasn't much shade.
Throughout the stay, the reception were extremely helpful and accommodating.
Overall, Xtilu offers good value for money and a great location in Oaxaca City.

The room was clean and comfortable. Quiet at night located in back patio area Rm 211. Breakfast was a delight. I wish there was possibility for coffee earlier than 8 am. About 4 blocks from Zocalo. Safe walk at night. Not as much activity as in center which was good.

Great hotel just a 5 minute walk to the Zocalo. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was incredible, as good as anything we ate throughout our stay. The staff were all great, with a special shoutout to Fernanda at the front desk and the servers at breakfast for making everything so nice. Highly recommended!
