The property was well-furnished and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxed break. I felt safe and secure staying there on my own and Salvo, the host, was extremely welcoming, helpful and communicative throughout. The apartment was quiet and well-located with shops, restaurants and swimming spots all within a short walk. It's just a couple of minutes away from the market too, so plenty of fresh produce is available nearby if you wish to cook, rather than making the most of the abundance of wonderful restaurants and cafes in Ortigia. I stayed for four days which was the perfect amount of time for a first visit. I can't wait to return!
I don't think there's anything that could have been improved on. You can open the shutters if you want some natural light in the living space, but the lack of windows in the bedroom just meant that I slept very well as it was quiet and dark.

Το διαμέρισμα παρείχε όλες τις ανέσεις που χρειαζόμασταν και βρίσκεται σε άριστη τοποθεσία, στο κέντρο της Ορτυγίας. Ο οικοδεσπότης κος Salvo ήταν πολύ φιλικός, μας υποδέχτηκε εγκάρδια και ήταν διαθέσιμος να μας εξυπηρετήσει σε οτιδήποτε χρειαστούμε.

This place exceeded my expectations! The photos don’t do justice. It’s modern, spacious and clean. In the heart of Ortigia and walking distance to everything. Check in was easy as Salvo met us at the property to explain things. Aircon was on for us when we arrived which we really appreciated.😊

Petit appartement au centre d’Ortigia. Bien placé pour visiter le centre historique. Une seule plage avec des rochers. À côté des vestiges de Syracuse et de très belles plages aux eaux translucides avec du sable. Propriétaire sympas.
Gros soucis avec le pass ZTL. Le propriétaire ne nous avait pas prévenu et il nous a donné rendez-vous après le pont, au moment où la zone était fermée. Nous sommes entrés après 17:00… surprise ! nous attendons pour la contravention. Nous avons nous même contacté la police communale. Nous verrons bien.
