This was our third time staying in Thessaloniki, but unfortunately, our first truly unpleasant experience with an apartment.
We arrived in Thessaloniki with a small child and were given no instructions whatsoever on how to enter the building. We spent two hours calling and messaging the host, but nobody answered. After two hours, they finally sent us instructions — but for a different apartment than the one we had booked. Only after two hours of calling and messaging were we told that, due to technical problems, we had been moved to another apartment. Nobody informed us about this in advance.
We also had no Wi-Fi in the apartment. We contacted the host several times via Viber to report the problem, but nobody replied and the issue was never resolved.
The apartment was located close to Ladadika, where there are many restaurants and bars. However, there was loud music from the surrounding bars until the early hours of the morning, which was very difficult for us because we were travellin
