De accommodatie was fantastisch!
Niet alleen de ligging was perfect (nog niet eens 5 minuten lopen en je staat al op de vismarkt van Catania), het verblijf zelf maakte dat we het ook meer dan prima vonden om af en toe even “thuis” te blijven en gebruik te maken van het heerlijke terras, afkoelen in de airconditioning of de warmte afspoelen onder de fijne regendouche.
De communicatie met Thomas verliep prettig, hij reageerde snel op onze vragen en dacht mee!

We were delayed by a few hours arriving at Ciaurimari and the host was very understanding and accommodating. The property is in a great location, in a quiet area about a 5-10 minute walk to the fish market, cathedral etc. with a bakery and small supermarket a few minutes walk away. The air conditioning was a huge bonus for the time that we were there in July as it was very effective and quiet.
The house is quite charming in style and there are a number of areas to relax as there is a comfortable lounge downstairs plus the dining area and wonderful outside terrace with its parasol upstairs.
It wasn't a problem for us but the steps to the bed and to the upstairs area should be noted as it may not be ideal if you have mobility issues.

Great location with a fabulous south facing terrace. The house is located in a very quiet cortile which makes spending time in the terrace a little oasis away from the busy centre. However, it is less than a 10 minute walk to the fabulous fish market, duomo and great bars and restaurants. The main bus and train station are a 20 minute walk from the house and give easy access to Taurmino and Otiglia. Thomas was a great host and allowed us to have a very late check out as our flight was 9pm at night. Thank you Thomas - we will be back!
