The apartment itself is very nice. It is spacious, clean, well equipped and generally very comfortable for a stay. The bathroom is nice, the bed and bedding were comfortable, and the apartment was in a good condition overall. There were also positive experiences with the hosts before our stay. We were allowed to arrive earlier than the normal check-in time, and they also allowed us to bring our small dog, which we appreciated. The surrounding area is beautiful as well, although getting there and especially parking can be challenging. You should be a reasonably confident driver.

The actual parking garage is large enough once you are inside, but reaching it is difficult: the entrance is very narrow between walls and you then have to reverse down a ramp into the garage. With a larger car, or if you are not very comfortable with tight manoeuvring, this can be stressful. We managed with a Ford C-Max, but I would personally be cautious with anything significantly larger. There is no air conditioning, which could potentially be an issue during hotter weather, although during our stay the temperature was perfectly fine for us. Unfortunately, the main reason our overall impression became much more negative was the internet situation and the communication surrounding it. On the day of our arrival, we were informed that the previous guests had supposedly removed the SIM card from the Wi-Fi router and that the Wi-Fi therefore did not work. We were told that a solution was being worked on. Later, the hosts told us that they had purchased a new SIM card and were waiting for it themselves. The problem was that the Wi-Fi was never restored during our stay and we never received a concrete timeframe for when it would be fixed. This was particularly inconvenient because mobile reception inside the apartment is extremely poor. In some parts of the apartment we could barely send messages, and watching videos or using mobile data normally was often impossible depending on where you were standing or sitting. So in practice, having no Wi-Fi meant having almost no usable internet connection at all. What made this more frustrating was that, after checking reviews on Booking.com, we noticed that other guests had already mentioned internet problems from around August 15th. Because of that, being informed about the issue only on the day of our arrival was quite jarring. At the very least, earlier communication would have allowed us to prepare for the situation. The hosts did respond to our messages, so I would not say that they completely ignored us.

Rovenna ist ein süßer kleiner Ort. Aber nichts für große Autos, die Strecke durch Rovenna durch zum Appartement ist nichts für schwache Nerven. Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig und man hat einen eigenen Parkplatz. Man hat alles was man für einen kürzeren Aufenthalt braucht. Perfekt, wenn man die Ecke des Sees entdecken möchte.

L emplacement, car le studio ne se trouve pas du tout à Cernobbio mais à Rovenna, 4km dans la montagne, accessible par une route en lacets (pas facile en fourgon) de plus, aucune vue sur quoi que ce soit car les fenêtres sont à rez de route, comme dans un sous sol...Étant en fourgon, nous n avons pas pu utiliser le garage prévu, bcp trop en pente.
