Very unique property and the owners are just friendly, helpful and delightful! Really enjoyed staying there! Food was fabulous and there are hot tubs, but we didn't use them

Words honestly can’t describe how incredible this stay was. The property itself is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, relaxing, surrounded by nature, with stunning sunsets, fruit trees, and amazing views everywhere you look. It felt like a hidden paradise. The hot tub, outdoor spaces, and overall atmosphere made it such a special experience.
But what truly made this unforgettable was Ziv and Karen. They didn’t treat us like guests — they treated us like family. They were like having a mom and dad away from home. Their kindness, care, and hospitality went far beyond anything we ever expected.
My girlfriend forgot important medication back home, and Karen went out of her way to help us get what we needed. She even went to the supermarket herself to buy hair products so she could do my girlfriend’s hair for a wedding we were attending — and it looked absolutely amazing. She also offered to iron my clothes for the wedding. They warmed up the hot tub for us, constantly checked in on us, and even brought us food because they felt we needed to eat something. That level of care is something you rarely experience anywhere.
You can truly feel the love and heart they put into this place and into the people who stay here. We left feeling grateful, cared for, and honestly emotional about leaving. Ziv and Karen deserve the absolute best, and we will never forget this experience.

We just started here and were completely blown away. What we expected to be a comfortable base for exploring the region turned into one of the most memorable stays we’ve ever had. The food, first and foremost, deserves serious praise — easily among the best meals we’ve eaten anywhere. Every dish was thoughtful, fresh, and beautifully executed. The chef is incredibly talented, and the level of quality was simply unexpected for a hotel of this size. It felt more like dining at a Michelin-starred retreat than a small hotel.
Beyond the food, the design of the hotel itself was stunning. The architecture blends modern elegance with regional character, and the lighting in the hotel is amazing. You can tell Keren is an interior designer.
What really set this place apart, though, were the hosts. They were incredibly gracious and generous with their time, offering genuine hospitality and sharing the story of how they built the hotel. As we’re considering a move to Portugal ourselves, their insight into the process — the challenges, the rewards, and the local culture — was incredibly helpful and deeply appreciated. Ziv was always ready with great suggestions and recommendations for the area
This is more than just a place to stay. It’s an experience. We left feeling inspired, well-fed, and extremely grateful. We can’t recommend it enough.

Where do I start, from the moment we booked the owners were very responsive on the hotels.com app and via WhatsApp, as soon as we arrived we were warmly greeted, our room was 10/10, very clean, everything was perfect and I loved the attention of details on the lamp shades. Breakfast was again 10/10, everything taste amazing, and a lot of the food was fresh produce, this is by far the best breakfast and hotel I've stayed at on holiday, the friendliness, cleanliness, they really care about you and your stay. Also they were very helpful in sending recommendations for things to do in the local area. The area itself is lovely and quiet and the view from the bedroom window or garden is amazing! I would defo come back and stay again. Wishing them all the best for the future.
