About this apartment rental
Cocoonr is offering this charming 70 m² flat for rent in Bayeux, which can accommodate up to 6 guests. Situated on the ground floor, it comprises a lovely 31 m² living room, a fully fitted kitchen, two beautiful bedrooms and two shower rooms (with showers). Wi-Fi (fibre optic), bed linen and towels are included – we’re just waiting for you!
The accommodation is laid out as follows:
- A 31 m² living room with a TV, a double sofa bed and a dining area
- A fully fitted kitchen including: electric kettle, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob, extractor hood…
- Bedroom 1: with 1 double bed (140×200)
- Bedroom 2: with 2 single beds (90×200) which can be pushed together to form a double bed
- Two bathrooms with showers
- A separate toilet
For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional items: a high chair, a washing machine, a cot, a fan, an iron and ironing board, and a desk.
Outside:
- A private courtyard of 13 m² to enjoy the sunny days
The flat is ideally situated in Bayeux, in a very pleasant setting. You’ll find all the essential shops nearby, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and the market...
Things to do: Bayeux Cathedral, the Normandy Battle Memorial Museum, the British War Cemetery, the D-Day beaches and the Bayeux Tapestry.
Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park for free on the street near the flat.
As for other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful:
- Nearest railway station: Bayeux, 1.2 km away (16 mins’ walk)
- Nearest airport: Caen, 25 km away (24 mins by car)

Great location just off Rue Saint Jean. Very comfortable for our party of three. Check in was simple as we were met at the location right when we arrived and shown around the property. Everything we needed was there, although we didn't spend much time in the unit as we were out touring every day.

The Penas were terrific hosts. The apartment kitchen was well appointed, no oven, but all the utensils and dishes you'd need for meals at home. We could not figure out how to stream from Amazon Prime on the TV but that was not a fault of the apartment, but probably user error. The main bedroom was comfortable with plenty of towels in the bathrooms. Parking was a 2-minute walk away and occasionally we had to circle around to find an open spot but cruising around in the beautiful city of Bayeux was always a treat. The location is excellent for dining and shopping. I highly recommend this apartment. Be careful of a few steps if you have mobility issues. Thanks, Mr. and Mrs. Pena!!
