About this bed and breakfast
Ancient country house, immersed in a centuries-old olive grove, in the historic center of Torchiara. Close to the sea and important archaeological sites such as Velia and Paestum. It is possible to go on excursions along the rivers, in the mountains, or visit the many seascapes and, upon reservation, even scuba diving. Breakfast in good weather is very impressive, served on a large renovated stone terrace overlooking the surrounding valley. The rooms have retained their typical rural features but are equipped with television, internet and air conditioning. In the large living room a majestic fireplace accompanies reading or discussion on winter evenings. An ancient cellar, today called Dragut's Meeting, houses a large library and video library and the headquarters of the Archive of Mediterranean Photography. Dried figs, good wine, quality oil, the specialties of the Mediterranean diet are the strengths of the gastronomy that can be enjoyed.
