We came back to celebrate my husband's birthday again, and once more, it was absolutely wonderful! From the golf cart pick-up and mini tour on arrival, to check-in with a glass of their own rosé at the bar instead of a standard reception, they really know how to set the tone.
This time we were upgraded to the junior suite (we'd booked the deluxe!), spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotless. No private terrace, but the courtyard overlooking the pool more than makes up for it. As always, a lovely bottle of wine and a little dessert were waiting in the room, and since it was a birthday, a delicious cake and espumante too.
The food, once again, was outstanding. Breakfast is generous with breads, pastries, cheeses, meats, and a gorgeous fruit selection, plus you can order à la carte on top. Lunch at the pool (pear salad, roast beef sandwich, cocktails) was fantastic. Dinner is a real event: a spontaneous, beautiful little appetiser to start, superb mains and desserts, and a wine pairing that never disappoints.
The staff continue to be the loveliest, warmest people, always up for a chat and making you feel completely at home. We'll keep coming back for as long as we can. Obrigada por tudo, mais uma vez! <3
