We had a lovely time at the apartment and would happily recommend it to others. Some of the many positives as follows:
- The hosts were great at communicating everything we needed. We generally prefer not to be greeted on arrival, particularly when we arrive very late at night, so it was great just to be able to collect the keys at the door and have all the info we needed to settle in either in advance or on the info card left in the apartment.
- The apartment is in a traditional building in the beautiful old town (so not wheelchair accessible, and up some steep stairs), just a street or two back from the harbour. So it's perfect for being near all the best places to relax and eat and drink. It's not quite a sea view, but you can see the sea from the terrace and we couldn't find any better self-catering options.
- It's mostly very quiet, and the bedroom is to the back of the flat and can be made almost completely dark (bar the light from the air con), so we slept well even on the busier nights. This also helps keep it nice and cool.
- The shower in the main bathroom is fantastic if you like extra spray attachments and don't mind a bit of mopping up afterwards. Both bathrooms are spacious and were spotlessly clean when we arrived.
- The wi-fi is good, and all the appliances were perfectly good for what we needed and were expecting.
We generally thought the apartment was pretty hard to fault, so these are more tips than negatives:
- Quite a few of the sockets are older European ones, but the owners did leave us with one converter and the main (Spar) supermarket sells them for a couple of euros.
- The price you pay for staying in the old town is that the main supermarkets and the station are a bit of a walk - nothing to be bothered about as there are more local shops (just beware that all the smaller places shut for the afternoon), but if it's really hot you might want to avoid the hottest times of day.
- There is some sort of hostel / hotel directly across from the terrace which has a rooftop bar. However, this seems to be only for private functions and has an 11pm curfew, so we only saw it being used on two of our ten days.
- We did find the odd thing missing that would've been useful - a decent cooking knife and a laundry airer would've been useful, and a couple of loungers on the terrace would've been a nice extra. Just beware that if, like us, you enjoy cooking then there are only two hobs and the kitchen counter is small - but this is clear in the photos.

The apartment was beyond our expectations. Spacious,, comfortable,two bathrooms,comfortable bed & fabulous terrace with view.
Perfect for a couple. Trani is lovely,great food & on a pedestrianised back street in Beltrane an exquisite art gallery.
As it's an interesting and well maintained old building,there were many marble stairs!
However,this was highlighted in the description. It kept us fit!

Ubicación estupenda, cerca del puerto y de la catedral y castillo, zona tranquila.
Amplia terraza con vistas bonitas para disfrutar del amanecer y del atardecer.
Cama muy cómoda.
Wifi rápida.
Buen contacto, tanto en persona como por whatsapp.
Parking gratuito en la esplanada del castillo, cerca del apartamento (a unos 5 minutos andando).
A tener en cuenta las escaleras de acceso al apartamento (tercer piso), muy empinadas e irregulares y algo estrechas, típico en la zona.
La puerta del portal que cuesta abrir y cerrar (tiene "truco") según nos enseñó la vecina del piso inferior.
Que no hubiera agua caliente (pese a que hacia calor, disponer de agua caliente se agradece)
La placa de inducción de la cocina.
Echamos de menos un "microondas" aunque ya sabíamos que no había, puesto que en la descripción del menaje de la vivienda no lo menciona.

Perfectly located nice new space. Amazing terrace and very comfortable bed.
Bathrooms are spacious and new and the kitchen is fully equipped.
Communication with the host Michele was clear and simple.
