Nice, cosy and spotlessly clean cottage, where every little detail has been thoughtfully taken care of.
The cottage has its own private access to the lake, which we made good use of for swimming and fishing.
A comfortable outdoor seating and barbecue area, a sauna, a beautiful covered terrace, firewood - there is everything you may need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The host was very helpful and responsive, always ready to assist whenever we had a question or needed any help.
The surrounding nature is magnificent, with forests, berries, mushrooms, ponds and lakes — and, most importantly, complete peace and quiet.
Cēsis, Sigulda, Līgatne and the beautiful cliffs along the Amata and Gauja rivers are all within easy reach. We were genuinely sorry to leave..
We were not very lucky with the weather, but even that did not spoil our stay: the cottage was lovely both in sunshine and in the rain. And that was certainly not the host’s fault!

Beautiful place. You can pick mushrooms, raspberries and blueberries straight from the cabin, fish and swim at the lake. Nature is amazing.
