We had the most wonderful stay at Blue Sky Villa and honestly could not have asked for a better experience. The villa was absolutely beautiful, spacious, clean and very well maintained. It was even more lovely in person and provided the perfect setting for a special family holiday.
A very special mention has to go to Maria, who was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She was incredibly kind, welcoming and accommodating, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and her warmth and hospitality made such a difference to our stay.
Maria really did go the extra mile for us, and we are so grateful for everything she did. It is clear that she takes great pride in looking after her guests and creating a wonderful experience.
Blue Sky Villa is beautiful, but the exceptional hospitality is what truly made our stay so memorable. We would absolutely recommend staying here and would love to return in the future. Thank you so much, Maria, for making our holiday so special.

Maria the host was amazing and very helpfull. The house itself is beautiful and has everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Nothing, the only thing you have to consider is that your in rural area. You need a car to get around, but Maria also helped us with a number from a local taxi driver.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the villa! Maria was an amazing host – she welcomed us personally and was always available by phone for any question or request throughout our stay.
The rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable, and the entire property is beautiful, peaceful and quiet, with absolutely stunning views. All the facilities were great, and our girls really enjoyed their time at the villa.
The cleaning service was also excellent – the lovely ladies came in, cleaned everything quickly and thoroughly, and were incredibly friendly and pleasant.
And a very special bonus was the delicious homemade treats Maria had prepared and left for us when we arrived. We really didn’t expect it, and it was such a thoughtful and lovely surprise that made us feel very welcome from the very beginning.
Thank you, Maria, for your wonderful hospitality and for making our stay so enjoyable. We had a fantastic time and would happily recommend this villa to others!
There were just a couple of small things that could make the stay even better. It would have been nice to have air conditioning in the downstairs bedrooms, especially during the warmer days.
We also have a small suggestion regarding the pool. Since the villa is located at a higher elevation and the area can be quite windy, the pool water stays relatively cool and doesn’t seem to warm up much from the sun, even during the summer. Adding pool heating could be a great addition, especially as it could make the pool enjoyable for guests during the cooler months as well.
This is purely a suggestion and didn’t take away from the wonderful experience we had at the villa.

La villa è stupenda, spaziosa, moderna e molto curata, oltre ad essere estremamente pulita. Gli ambienti sono confortevoli e dotati di attrezzature moderne e di alta qualità. Le camere sono molto comode, con materassi e cuscini di qualità, l'aria condizionata è ben distribuita e perfettamente funzionante e tutti i bagni sono moderni, funzionali e di design.
Uno dei punti di forza è sicuramente la zona esterna: piscina, sdraio, ombrellone, tavolo esterno, barbecue e anche un tavolo da ping pong permettono di trascorrere piacevolmente intere giornate in villa senza sentire la necessità di uscire. Molto comodo anche il parcheggio coperto.
Un altro grande punto di forza è l'host Maria, sempre gentilissima e disponibile per qualsiasi necessità o chiarimento. È stata molto flessibile anche per quanto riguarda gli orari di check-in e check-out e ha accolto con grande disponibilità anche alcune nostre richieste a cui non era tenuta. Abbiamo inoltre apprezzato molto il servizio di pulizia aggiuntivo che ci è stato offerto gratuitamente a metà soggiorno.
La posizione abbastanza centrale nell'isola consente infine di raggiungere sia la costa nord sia quella sud in tempi abbastanza simili, rendendo la villa un'ottima base per chi desidera visitare diverse zone di Creta.
Gli aspetti negativi sono davvero pochi e piuttosto marginali. La cucina potrebbe essere leggermente più spaziosa e, soprattutto per gruppi numerosi, sarebbe utile avere a disposizione qualche pentola e padella in più.
Le ville confinanti sono inoltre abbastanza vicine e non ci sono particolari barriere visive tra gli spazi esterni. Per noi non ha rappresentato un problema, ma chi cerca molta privacy mentre utilizza la piscina potrebbe tenerne conto.
Infine, la posizione centrale è ottima per chi vuole esplorare sia la costa nord sia quella sud, ma può risultare meno comoda se, come nel nostro caso, si è interessati prevalentemente alle località della costa nord. Volendo rientrare in villa tra le attività della giornata e quelle della sera, si finisce inevitabilmente per trascorrere parecchio tempo in macchina.
