We liked this place so much that we booked it again on our second swing by Bologna.
This is the PERFECT base if you are doing the cheese and acetto tours, plus it is a gorgeous classical Italian country villa.
The parking is a bit confusing, and the is hardly any signs that point you to the check-in office, but it is a minor issue UNLESS you arrive after 8pm.
You must also make sure you pay all due taxes at check-in if you plan to checkout before 7am.
There are excelent trattorias in Cavazzona and Castlefranco.

We stayed for 4 nights here, in mid april, a very quite and peaceful place. You can get a good sleep here and wake up with the sound of only birds singing. Breakfast is decent, good enough of variety and choices to start the day with. Not that close to major cities but Bologna is about a 20 minutes drive. I don't know how public transportation is in the area but with car it's good accessible.

Great staff and fantastic service. The handicapped capable room needs some minor work on the shower, the water from the shower covers the entire floor instead of angling towards the drain. The staff was very accommodating and quickly made a temporary fix during our stay.

Absolutely fell in love … highly recommend.. will definitely return .. it’s only 25 minute drive to Bologna airport
