This hostel is extremely well-situated and clean. The staff is friendly. The rooms are great and you have a big locker to put your things into. However, the kitchen is pretty small and there is only one bathroom stall and one shower stall per floor, so if the hostel is crowded, be ready for a little wait! I definitely recommend this place :))

On my first day, I arrived at the hostel from the airport after 11 PM. The staff (Marija) sent instructions on how to enter the room after the reception was cleared, so I could check in properly and receive my locker key the next morning. I checked out the same way (my return flight was also very early). Downtown Boutique is in the center of the old town, close to everything (about a seven-minute walk from the airport bus stop). The room was on the third floor, facing the courtyard. Clean and had a comfortable bed. Perfect for a budget stay. I'd happily return.

Excellent hostel. Beds were well spaced out and had privacy screens. Each bed had a large wardrobe style locker. The bunk beds well in built and had easy access steps as opposed to a ladder. Showers and toilets were clean. I was conscious that there were only 2 female showers on our floor but I never had to wait, and there might have been more down the corridor. Air con was very effective. I was able to leave my luggage and baggage at reception before and after check in and my passport could be stored in a safe at reception. The breakfast at Eden cafe was included and it was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
