The combo of privacy and silence yet proximity to beaches and tavernas was incredible. The owner is very helpful and kind, the check in process was super smooth. We prioritize silence and calm at night which often means staying off grid or very far away from cities but in this case we got exactly what we were looking for (and more) while being 2 minutes by car from the local town centre.
The villa is very nice and modern, well equipped and has a great pool in the backyard.
From the upper terrace you can watch the sea and the coast, which makes the whole stay unforgettable.
As a bonus, we had some cat visitors (probably local cats) that were very friendly but never stepped inside, even when the door was open so I think they’ve been trained or are used to tourists.
We’ve stayed in multiple different places in Crete and this might be quite possibly our favorite stay.
Highly recommend.
