Loved the welcome and the info. Tent set up was fantastic. Lovely touches like a basket of firewood and a marshmallow on the first night.
We went when it was quiet, but having only one shower I can imagine it is a little chaotic if busy.

Tents were a very pleasant surprise. Comfortable beds, a little fridge and plenty of crockery and cutlery. Even a light in one tent. Very warm welcome from Connie with info on local pubs etc (Duke William in Ickham was excellent).
At age 76 this was my first experience of camping so the trudge to the toilets (which were quite OK) was a bit of task. But I guess that's par for the course. The Shower was OK but in a bit of a primitive shed. We decided not to use it as it was a bit grubby - but that's the fault of the other campers not the owner!
